Legacy Media Management and Linking in Drupal 7

Current Drupal 7 media management and linking solutions are built around the D7 Media and Media: WYSIWYG modules which allow content authors to add, browse and embed media by integrating with the CKEditor 4 WYSIWYG editor via the Editor, CKEditor and/or WYSIWYG modules. However, CKEditor 4 reached end of life in 2023 and is no longer receiving security coverage and updates.

CKEditor 5 Media Management and Linking for Drupal 7 allows you to keep your website safe by upgrading to the latest version of CKEditor, CKEditor 5, while providing your users with the ability to upload, browse, embed and link content using familiar processes and interfaces.
